Poker — the card game flagship at q7979
Poker is a card game that does not rely on luck alone. Players win by applying the right strategy with their hand, making sound decisions, and knowing when to act. On q7979, Myanmar players can enjoy a range of games — Texas Hold'em, Omaha, Short Deck, and Live Casino Poker.
The easiest way to deposit is with KBZPay in Myanmar currency, and Wave Money, AYA Pay, and CB Pay are also supported. The minimum deposit is 10,000 Ks, and the same amount applies as a reasonable minimum for withdrawals.
On q7979's Poker platform, you can get the full experience — from solo table play to going head-to-head with a Live Dealer in real time.
Poker is only available to players aged 21+
Poker game types available at q7979
No matter your level — from first-timers to seasoned players looking to compete — q7979 offers a wide range of Poker games.
Texas Hold'em
The most popular Poker variant in the world — hold 2 cards and combine them with 5 community cards to make the best combination. At q7979 you can play both Ring Game and Tournament format.
Omaha Poker
You hold 4 cards instead of 2 as in Texas Hold'em and must combine them with 3 community cards, giving you a much richer range of combinations. The bigger role of strategy and decision-making makes it a favourite among experienced players.
Live Casino Poker
Live Poker played with a real dealer via live video stream — giving you the feel of being in a casino in person. Tables aligned with Myanmar MMT timezone are open 24 hours.
Short Deck Poker
Using only 36 cards, hands are stronger and each game moves faster. A solid choice if you want non-stop action without the wait.
Sit & Go Tournament
A fast-format tournament that starts as soon as enough players have registered — giving you intense competition with real cash prizes on the line.
VIP Poker Table
Exclusive High-Stakes Poker Tables for Gold and Platinum VIP players — play in a setting with bigger prizes and fewer players at the table.

Poker strategies that can win
Even on a bad-luck night, a player with good strategy can come out ahead in the long run. These tips are useful for both beginner and intermediate players.
Pay attention to Position
Playing from the Button Position (next to the Dealer) lets you see your opponent's action before deciding, giving you a strong advantage. In Early Position, only enter with a strong hand.
Use Bluffing carefully
Bluffing is an essential tool in Poker, but bluffing too often lets opponents read you. Look at the board texture and pot size, and only bluff at the right moment.
Set a Bankroll management plan
Never risk more than 5% of your bankroll in a single session. This way you can keep playing and stay in reserve even on a losing day.
Practice Hand Reading
Learn to estimate what hand your opponent might be holding based on their bet sizing, timing tells and the board. Keep practicing — you can sharpen this skill further at a Live Dealer Table.
